  1. Age of Child: 9 months

The most valuable piece of advice that I have heard about teaching my child is to just be patient with them. Every lesson you want to be instilled upon them starts with patience and through patience you can have more time to observe and think better ways in giving a good upbringing for your child.

  5. Advice on teaching children – that expsoing children to music early on in their lives (even while inside Mommy’s tummy) will help their learning ability and brain development. Incorporating music while learning is much more fun 🙂

One of the most valuable piece of advice I have come across is letting your child learn at their own pace and not forcing them to do so.

As a parent the most important advice is to be consistently available for your child, because early development and learning starts at home. “Because what is formed in the brain is the basis for later functioning”

Don’t stress; do relax and enjoy – teaching young children is frustrating and stressful. Don’t beat yourself up just because the children can’t get a grasp of your lesson. Just relax and enjoy their spontaneity and candor.

  17. Rolando Mendoza :

Children imitate adults. Always show your best for them to
imitate. There is no such thing as a “problem child”. A child’s bad behavior is almost always learned from watching an adult, especially a teacher. Children don’t know any better. Don’t blame or punish them for something that they probably don’t know is wrong or bad.

  18. The most valuable piece of advice that I have heard about teaching my child is “A child is like a sponge. They can easily absorb what they see and hear.” So, as a parent, we need to make sure that we’re being extra careful in everything we do.

I’m a first time Mom. I’m expecting a baby boy this July 2013. This workshop would definitely help me. Thank you.
