There is a constant clamor for content that push women to believe that they can be anything and everything that they want to be. They are capable of taking on multiple roles — being a wife or mother and at the same time, someone who contributes a great deal in the home and in society. Because of this, women have continuously built self-confidence and boosted the spirits of other ladies in their circle. Most of them have taken upon themselves tasks and responsibilities that people deemed impossible to do. It’s truly a whole new world.

As a woman and mother, there are times, too, that I break down. In a moment when I fail living up to the expectations of others, I shatter. Even if I know that other people’s expectations shouldn’t matter, I myself am confronted by my own self-judgements. What we should all look into is loving ourselves and forgiving ourselves. We are all super women, but we can’t feel super all the time. And that’s just how life works.
It’s okay to ask for help. It’s okay to tell your spouse that you really can’t handle the pressure. It’s okay to call your mom to temporarily ask her to look after the kids. It’s okay to ask help from your nanny. It’s okay to let yourself loose sometimes in order not to lose yourself.
