Baby Z is Teething

For those who are new moms, one of the things to watch out for during the first few months of a baby is the ‘teething’ stage. My pediatrician already told me that Zeeka will be growing her teeth in a few months. I can actually feel the top of the teeth already trying to protrude through the lower gums. I think she’ll be having her two front teeth very soon!

She’s becoming very fussy already. She also always wants to put things into her mouth and she loves biting. She bites into yaya’s shoulders and she also loves biting when I’m nursing her (ouch!). Of course, I can’t blame her since I can just imagine how uncomfortable it is to feel that pain and itchiness in the gums. The worse part is that you don’t know how to explain these feelings to mommy, daddy or to yaya. What I do is just give her teething biscuits that she can bite on. I got these biscuits from Healthy Options.

Now that Baby Zeeka is eating and placing all these different thing into her mouth, it is the best time to start taking care of her mouth, gums and eventually, teeth.
