My favorite past time now is looking through stuff in online stores and window shopping! I just feel so relaxed when navigating through these sites and when walking through the isles (even if I know oftentimes, I don’t get to buy anything). It’s so tempting though to buy new and innovative things and gadgets that you see.
For the longest time, I have been eyeing different humidifiers. The one that popped out was the JML Fresh Air Mist Ultrasonic Aroma Humidifier. I saw this at Ace Hardware actually. But, before we talk about this product, the reason why is that my husband, EJ, wakes up every day and coughs like hell. He has pretty bad dry cough in the morning. I did some reading and people online say that humidifiers can help with this.
Oh, and I wake up to cracked lips, sometimes, too! Both these things may be because of the dry air in our room.
So, let’s talk about humidifiers! You may not know it but I saw several types online. What we had when we were kids was what is called a steam vaporizers. Do you still remember this? I still remember that my mom would use to place efficascent oil into the machine, and had me stay in front of the humidifier when I had colds.
What caught my attention are the ultrasonic humidifiers! Sounds so futuristic, right?
Well, these humidifiers produce a mist using ultrasonic vibration. The one that caught my attention early on was the JML Fresh Air Mist Ultrasonic Aroma Humidifier.
The JML Fresh Air Mist Utrasonic Aroma Humidifier can carry 2.5L of water. Humidifiers this size can be use for a room that is 10-25m². This was actually perfect for our room!

Do you pour your essential oils directly to the water?
Hi, I was also confused wether the essential oils should put directly in the water tank OR there are essential oil plate as indicated in the box.
Upon reading the instructions manual of this product, it says that we can put essential oil directly in the water tank.
BUT then I am still hesitant to put an oil directly in the tank with the water as it may affect the function of the machine.
Upon googling on how to use this product with an essential oils, I found this “iSPECLE Filter Free Humidifier”, and it is the same (as in parehong pareho talaga) as this JML humidifier. (It ONLY differs with the BRAND). And it says on the site where a learned about the iSPECLE humidifier that the oil should be placed on the built-in oil plate located at the top of the tank lid. (Not directly on the water tank as per the JML instructions manual)

There is a dish on top where you can place the essential oils 🙂
What water to use? Nasa manual tap water kaai. Then usually distilled water yung suggested.

Napansin ko lang po kase pag umaga pg gising ko prang humihina na po ung mist nya kahit medyo marami pa siyang tubig..ung oil po ba pag nilagay sa plate nya di po ba siya mabilis maubos?

Obeserve mo lang then if ganun parin, baka you can let JML know. For the oil, napansin ko nga na mabilis maubos talaga. 🙂 Yung mahal na essential oil po, tinitipid ko nga eh 🙂 haha
I just bought one from ace today and i cant see any mist coming from the opening..and everytime i press the plus sign it turns off.. do i need to r3place it? Is it normal?

What I have tried are oil based 🙂 I haven’t tried water based ones.
