Learn How to Sketch!

Do you know how to draw or sketch? That may be one of my frustrations. My drawing and sketching skills are limited to big Circles and small circles. Oh, wait! I know of several complicated drawings that I can make — I can make hearts, stars and weird looking men and women. Haha! Kidding aside, I am jealous of people like my friend Patricia of Fancy Girl Design Studio, who can make illustrations like this (btw, she recently introduced her “illustrations” services if you want to have her make drawings for your site or decorations, etc.)…

Darn! She’s so talented. You know what? Mommies, if you find that your sons or daughters love drawing, sketching and art, we recommend that you sign them up for this right away! We at Manila Workshops, together with Young Advocates, will be holding a Basic Sketching Workshop on October 11, 2014 at Mothercare Podium Branch, Mothercare Podium Branch, 3/L The Podium Mall, 18 ADB Avenue, Ortigas Center, Mandaluyong City. We thought about holding this since a lot of us really want to help our children, nephews or nieces and grandchildren to hone their skills while they are still young.

Basic Sketching workshop that would teach kids specifically the light and shadow techniques. With the knowledge of these techniques, anyone would be able to know how to capture real life objects and interpret it unto paper.
