So excited for you and ej! 1 more week to go πŸ™‚ Pack around ten swaddles πŸ™‚ pack more bonnets πŸ™‚ cloth gauze diaper you will just use as burp pad πŸ™‚ clothes around 5 max changes a day (if they spit up often) πŸ™‚ for tummy binder, get an extra because it’s expensive if you get from the hospital. πŸ™‚ there’s this cheap brand in SM – lady grace πŸ™‚ do not forget baby toiletries unless the hospital has a welcome pack for baby πŸ™‚ I love Mustela shampoo and wash! It does not override the natural baby smell πŸ™‚

      Thanks!!!! πŸ™‚

Hi Ginj! Can’t tell you that it is too much because i packed more than what’s enough too, but the most that i was thankful i brought with me in the hospital was my own pillow, because it made me felt relax or at home feeling πŸ™‚ and a lavender oil, scent that calms you maybe? Because being pregnant you tend to be sensitive with scents, so i was aftaid i will not like how it will be in the hospital so just a thought πŸ™‚ best wishes and i am very happy for you!

Thanks, Mina! πŸ™‚ I’ll bring a pillow, too! πŸ™‚ Yeah, i’m okay with the scent of lavender. I just don’t like the scent of coffee πŸ™‚ haha!

that’s more than enough ginj πŸ™‚ you only need to bring clothes for the baby for when she’s ready to go home. while they’re in the nursery (or in your room) they will be in the hospital’s swaddling clothes and diapers.

    i made a list here: http://manilamommy.com/2009/09/a-practical-hospital-bag-checklist/

best to check with your hospital too what you should bring. my list is based on st.luke’s qc πŸ™‚

I believe you wrote this before you gave birth. Now that you’ve given birth in Asian Hospital, can you email tips on what to bring? Please πŸ™‚ thanks a lot mommy ginger!

Hi Katrina! I actually adjusted the article already to what I brought. Oh, a tip pala! Asian Hospital doesn’t allow breast pumps inside the hospital. They really try to make your baby latch on to you πŸ™‚ I guess that’s the reason why I really got into breastfeeding my child πŸ™‚ BTW, are you related to Gian Ley? πŸ™‚
