I love chicken! 🙂 I’m always looking for delicious chicken to bring home, and what I normally buy is whole roasted chicken that I ask them to chop. I take what I can eat for my meal then keep the rest inside the fridge to eat for the next meal. I can tell you where the best roasted chicken are, but then recently, I realised that I can’t assure my family that the cooked chicken that I purchase is fresh. So being the main decision maker and the “queen” of the household, I decided to just buy raw chicken and just cook it at home.

I buy Magnolia chicken, because the chicken that I buy from them is always fresh. Well, fear not, for I have done all the canvassing myself, and I did it half a day. The next two items are for those dad who always have their friend over at home. Both will appreciated and used by your man!

But wait, before you go, I’d like to share with you my food pick for this month. I love Chicken, and I think my friends and family know that. So imagine me going crazy when I saw these!

These chicken variants are the bomb! Naturally, upon seeing this, I did what any sane person would do.

I got all of the flavors. Now, that I am at home and resting, I got to finish one whole pack of the Hot n’ Spicy variant. Yes, I finished it by myself.

What I loved about it is that the chicken was still so fresh. It wasn’t bloody at all when cooked. The meat was very soft and juicy. What I did was I bought ranch dressing and used it as sauce for this variant. I’ll share with you soon what my favorite will be after I go through all of the variants. Haha! But honestly, this was a good purchase in my opinion.

I never thought I’m gonna cook. Bagwings is a food concept that we made based on another thing that Filipinos love to do, and that is drinking. We started with a menu that was built to be the ultimate “pulutan” selection, but then something happened, we noticed that people were ordering rice from the next stall after ordering Bagwings , so, we decided to make it a full-on rice meal concept. Our signature Bagwings dish is a mixture of roasted pork belly, chilled then deep-fried to perfection to attain that Northern and Southern fusion (Ilocos bagnet + Cebu Lechon) paired with fried chicken wings in various flavors glazed with our famous Bagwings chili oil.

Jaycee: Here in PH, the government is really unclear about the laws/rules in start-ups. Being a foodtrucker, there are no governing laws. There is a wide range of market but to be able to serve them the first road block is the government.

Jaycee: Value for time, endless patience, respect for MATH and Diskarte.
