I’m a Kamiseta Girl!

When I was a kid, I hated super frilly dressy. I would always throw a tantrum at the site of anything that my mother hung with ruffles and puffed sleeves. I always wanted to wear a kamiseta and shorts. We, Filipinos, know how comfortable kamisetas are. A kamiseta was made to be an undergarment, but as kids, our elders would buy kamisetas as garments to be used at home, especially for play time. It’s usually made out of cotton, which makes is so comfortable, and with this kind of weather in the Philippines, most of us would opt to push wearing that until an age where we need to shift to something more appropriate.

So when I grew to be a teenager, I was a fan of Kamiseta, the clothing brand. The name may have enticed me to check it out, and I may have associated it with the comfort that my kamiseta and shorts used to give me. I think it did, because for the longest time, I have been wearing clothes from Kamista. After sometimes, this brand that I so love is now the leading specialty retailer of fashionable casual apparel in the Philippines. Kamiseta, to this day, is hip, youthful and active.

The other thing that I like about Kamiseta is that I can buy clothes anytime, anywhere. They have their own website where you can order your clothes and have it delivered to your home.

kamiseta-1

I got this pink top and pink skirt made from lace from Kamiseta. It’s called Jeline. It has a partner pink top also made out of lace with a spaghetti strapped inner garment. I chose to remove the lacy top when I wore the skirt and chose to use the lacy shirt with jeans, which I think is awesome. The thing with Kamiseta is that you can have fun with the items that you get! It really is fun being a girl.

kamiseta-dress

Speaking of femininity, this was the other dress that I bought. I’m sure that you may have noticed now that I love the color yellow. I just love this dress, because it looks really comfortable and fresh! And the best thing about it is that it is really comfortable!

So if you want to have have the time of your life and be the woman you want to be — bold, confident and fun, try out stuff from Kamiseta! Because, it’s fun being a girl!

BABY OOTD: Ines Moda Infantil Dresses

Hi Lovely Readers! Today is another day where we feature Baby Z’s Style or BABY OOTD for the day. We didn’t get to feature a style last week to give in to my post on visioning for moms, which we thought would be more important for you to know about and sign up for since the workshop will be tomorrow. So with us skipping featuring an outfit last week, we will be featuring two outfits.

Baby Zeeka’s BABY OOTD for the day is from Ines Moda Infantil.

Hi everyone! I hope that everyone is having a great Monday morning. As usual, Baby Zeeka is up to her usual tricks and cuteness. To start the week right, here is my comic strip for you today.

Do you have babies that don’t like wearing dresses? haha! Zeeka literally becomes “friskier” if she wears frilly and fluffy dresses. We just can’t help it though. Ej and I think she looks so cute in baby dresses.

We usually get her clothes from Mothercare and online stores. There are a lot of online shops started by small business owners.

Feel free to contribute your own funny baby photos and use #tickleMEMondays

We’d love to see funny pictures of you and your baby!
