Last Sunday, we went home at around 10:30 pm. When we arrived, there was enough people in the lobby for it to be mistaken as a refugee camp. I quickly spoke with the receptionist and she mentioned that the building didn’t have electricity since 4:00 pm. It was because some wire broke in one of the streets in BGC which cut electricity for a lot of buildings.
Of course, I knew that it will probably take them some time to replace the wire, so I thought of staying at a nearby hotel. I downloaded an app called Hotel Quickly. Hotel Quickly is a mobile app that let’s you book hotel rooms at amazingly cheap prices. The initial concept was that these rooms were cheap since these were the last available rooms that no one has booked, so the hotels and resorts can sell the rooms for 50-70% off.

I logged in and saw that a room at F1 Hotel in BGC was down to around Php 4000+ from it’s original price of Php 11K. What a great deal! I booked right away and paid using Paypal. After a few minutes of getting some stuff from the house, we were aboard am Uber to F1 Hotel.
We arrived happy and stress-free because everything was ready!

We got there at around 11pm. The receptionist just asked for my name and a valid ID, and after a few minutes of waiting, we had the keys to our room. We got a Deluxe Room. Our stay included the use of the following facilities and amenities.

The next day, we woke up around 8 am and headed over to the 3rd floor to take our breakfast. The food was delicious. They had scrambled eggs, bread, oatmeal, fruits, champorado, sausage, cheese, bacon and a whole lot more! Zeeka loved the food, too!
After eating, she wanted to play, so we went to the 5th floor, where the reception area and where the play area was! They set up the play area during weekends. It’s located at the Premier Lounge.
After she played for around 20 minutes, she and her dad went to the pool to swim, while I went to the gym. The pool area wasn’t crowded. Even it was close to noon, that particular area stayed protected from the sun.
They had a baby pool, an ordinary squarish pool and a lap pool. Zeeka always wanted to be in the lap pool! 🙂
I had a fun time at the gym. They had three treadmills, a bike and one elliptical cycle machine. They also had dumbbells and one of those multi-functional equipments. What I loved a out it was that I was the only one there! haha! I loved the privacy.
