There is no such thing as Inspiration

There is no such thing as inspiration.

Okay, what I meant was you can’t just sit while drinking your coffee and pray that you suddenly get that next brilliant business idea out of nowhere. Inspiration requires work, too. But what probably makes it different is the lack of structure to achieve something structured.

What do I mean? Let me put some structure into finding inspiration.

INSPIRATION

First of all, look for something that puts you in a good mood. This is probably what we mean by identifying people who inspire us or finding that spot where your ideas usually run free. Another thing is doodling. I have found that doodling makes me happy, which is a solid platform that I could take off from. Doodling, that particular spot or that person makes you feel happy, and when you’re in a good mood, it is easier to think of new ideas.

Next is — do something. Yes, anything. Some things that you can do is write anything down. Write about the people that you see in that coffee shop. Write about plans this year. Write about dreams and wishes. Listen to podcasts, music, recordings. Watch videos. Just do something. This will tickle your brain to think of new things or to probably focus on one thing that will lead to another idea, then to another.

During this process of finding inspiration, keep an open mind. Anyway, these are just thoughts. Don’t shut down your thoughts first (especially when you haven’t even validated them yet). Hey, thinking about impossible things may lead to great ideas and possibilities.

I hope that this article placed you in a good mood. I hope it inspired you enough. Now, jump to the next idea!

Wake Up Inspired

I wake up inspired every day. Well, for one, I really am a morning person. But the real reason why I wake up inspired is that I see so many things that I can work on. I see so many things that I can do to make the world a better place. Oh, before you unfriend me on Facebook and think that I’m a total lunatic blabbing about being a superhero and wanting to change the world, you need to meet me. I’m really this gregarious and passionate about making positive changes in our country (okay, and prolly even the world but let’s not get to that just yet).

I was recently interviewed by Mike Grogran, an international speaker about being an entrepreneur. I super (yes, I always use this word) love this interview! It was one of the most exciting and comfortable interviews I have ever done. Kuddos to you Mike for being such a wonderful interviewer. Before going on to read the rest of this article, please do listen to the recording here:

EPISODE 8: UNLEASHING YOUR ENTREPRENEURIAL STREAK WITH GINGER ARBOLEDA

Best of You

I hope that you liked the interview! In my article today, I wanted to share how I am always inspired. People ask me why I’m always so “hyper” and when I talk about my mission in life, I’m always so passionate?

Find things that will make you fall in love again. I’m not talking about puppy love or crushes. I’m talking about about falling in love with LIFE. Find things that make you feel excited, things that put you in a good mood, things that make you lov life more! For example, when I want to write amazing articles or when I need a little bit of a boost, I open my Spotify account and play a playlist called Acoustic Morning.

Take a morning walk with nothing in mind. I often rush hurriedly, jumping from one task to the next. But there are days when I just take time out to go to the bank and I don’t walk hurriedly to it. I just breathe in and I get to feel more present. I get to feel and see (really see) things happening. And during those days when I start it this way, I am more focused and more productive.

Take up a hobby. Everyone needs a break every once in a while. Try to look for something that you would want to do during your free time. One of the things that we do as a couple at home in the evenings is we play boardgames. It relaxes us both and we get to spend time together.

Write down things that you are grateful for. It really helps to remind yourself that the world isn’t so bad. Your life isn’t that bad. There are more things that you should be grateful for! Having a notebook, a journal or a blog where you write down things that you are grateful for can make your more inspired. The next day, you’ll wake up feeling more confident and optimistic!

These are just some of the things… plus coffee that helps me wake up inspired and ready to face to world! How about you? Do you wake up inspired, too?

I’m Back — Stronger and More Inspired!

Did you notice that I was gone for a few days? It was because I had fever and then this bad case of intestinal flu. It was horrible! I could not stand because I was too weak. Anyway, I’m better now and I’m stronger and more inspired.

You know why? Secret! haha!

My friends hate it when I say that (kakabitin daw). Well, okay, I’m more inspired because during the time that I got sick, I got to realize that I really need to have a break (REALLY) once in a while and it reminded me on how I love writing and how I miss blogging. I’m a fan of Tim Ferris and I share his teachings, but I always forget to apply the things that he shares (especially if it’s not related to dieting). My sickness is that I hardly say NO (kaladkarin much). Even if my schedule is packed, I always make time for people. But see, this is what happens. You become sick. 🙁

During that time too, I thought about growing up (not physically, obviously), but achieving a better ME! I’m inspired now to look and feel stronger and fitter. I’m inspired to take action in intentionally relaxing. BTW, have you read my article in MakeItBlissful.com (Make Your Own Blissful Home Spa)? Please do read it! Also, I’m more inspired to grow more spiritually.

It’s a few days before my birthday and meditating during that time of weakness was perfect.

Hate being sick!

Hate being sick!

I hated being sick but something good came out from it so I am grateful. How can I can be grateful when every minute I was throwing up in the bathroom?

Well, with every moment in your life, you can choose to look at the glass half empty or half full. I always choose to look at the brighter side of things. It’s always really your call.
