Everyone’s into arts and crafts! It must be because of the loom band craze that people are now into using their hands to create works of art. In Indonesia, a new paper crafts craze has gotten people’s attention. We think that it will be the next crafting craze for both kids and adults in the Philippines. It actually invloves creating masterpieces using corrugated paper. Check these out:

These are the things that you can make using Kokoru, the brand of these corrugated paper. Well, I was inspired by these images so I decided to make my own version of a local celebrity here in the Philippines. Guys, presenting… Anne-bisyosa!

Anyway, Manila Workshops, together with IFEX (International Fine Exchange Paper) and Kokoru, are happy to introduce Corrugate Paper Crafting through their workshop, entitled Koko-Cute: A Kokoru Workshop. The are inviting you, both young and young at heart, to learn, have fun and create wonderful memories!

This workshop will be on August 23 at the vOffice, 10th Floor, The Fort Legend Tower at BGC from 2-5 pom. The map to the place is shown below:

Fee is Php 500 per participant (Early bird rate for those who register and pay before August 15). Group rate of Php 500 per participant also applies after the deadline (for 2 or more attendees in a group).

*P.S. These are creations of the speaker of the Koko-cute Workshop. Joness Cubacub is trained in the Food and Beverages Services and Barista under Hotel and Resaurant Services of TESDA. Jone loves the art of making reusable things out of old things. She loves to collect things and upcycles them to be able to use them again. Some of her projects are turning old jeans into bags, tin cans into pen holder and restyling an old study table into a work table. She delved into jewelry making which she sold her friends and relatives. Because of this, she has always been appointed the Christmas decorator in her own household. She also loves painting and drawing. This is the reason hy she believe that any form of art is for everyone. She says “you don’t have to be good at it – you just need to enjoy and love what you’re doing.”
